- correctly applied tape strips will secure and strengthen the made up box
- fold the boxes 2 shorter bottom flaps towards the centre of the box
- then fold the longer side flaps over the shorter, the strong flaps naturally lock to prevent distortion and bottom padding
- attach tape 6" up the side of the box and run the tape out over the touching folded flap edges
- continue up the other box side 6" to ensure grip
- run your hand over the pressure sensitive adhesive tape to ensure contact with the cardboard
- flip over the box, and once it is packed perform an identical sealing operation to the top flaps. If glass or fragile contents are included then use the appropriate tape
- when using our professional quality double walled removal boxes any additional sealing is not required, boxes will withstand the usual removal stresses
- With a Tape Gun -
- Tape guns make sealing even small quantities of boxes simple and quick
- a tape roll fits onto the tape gun main roller and tape is fed through to a secondary roller
- the tacky end section is exposed and the adhesive tape is ready to stick onto the box side
- hold the tape gun handle and pull directly back unwinds tape over the meeting flap edges
- pull the tape over the box edge and down the site
- a clear paddle secures the tape to the box side as a wrist twist helps the metal blade cut the tape
